Okay, my fellow movie lovers: Why haven’t you gone to see Pride & Glory? Because you heard it’s not as good as The Departed? Because it was filmed two years ago and has been sitting on the New Line/Warner Bros. shelf for a little while? Well, all that may be true, but by skipping the film you’re actually missing an excellent crime drama. I was particularly impressed by the performances of Edward Norton and Noah Emmerich, who play brothers in the film. Here’s a bit more of my OscarWatch interview with the pair of Yale grads; see if you catch Norton’s not-so-veiled slam of another Eli, who’s appearing in theaters now in the form of Josh Brolin.

I agree. Ed Norton and his brother were excellent and so was Colin Farrell. I thought all the actors did an outstanding job and the storyline was great too.
I wish they would give Edward Norton an Oscar already – the one he should have won for Primal Fear.
Or the one he should have won for American History X. The Oscars SUCK!!!!!!
This film doesn’t open over here in the UK until November 7 and it’s a bit depressing reading all the mostly negative reviews so far. However, I’m cheered up by the positie comments about EN and am looking forward to seeing it soon!
Ed Norton has never given a second rate perfomance and this one was absolutly perfect. He is one of the best actors in Hollwood and I would go to any movie he is in. I actually went by myself to see American Histor;y X. Of course it doesn’t hurt that he is incrediblly hamsome.
I really enjoyed the movie, people, go see it!
I’ve already seen this movie four times! It’s Brilliant! As for the reviews I never pay much attention to them except for the pictures.
