I can’t help wondering if they got scared of going head to head with Twilight. I don’t want to see the teen vampire flick, but there’s no doubt it’s going to be huge and will trounce everything else out there on opening weekend.

This was RDJ’s chance at best actor! But I believe it has nothing to do with actor nominations here. The film technically, is just not ready for release.

This is SO frustrating. Will the academy ever recognize RDJ? And as much as I love Tropic Thunder, come on, we know that’s not happening.

Does RDJ really have a chance for a Best Supporting Oscar for Tropic Thunder? I LOVED him in it, but I didn’t think the Academy – which rarely even bothers to glance at comedies (or comic-book movies for that matter, which is why I’m so excited for Heath Ledger) would even bother to look at Tropic Thunder, especially for Downey’s polarizing portrayal of an Aussie acting as an African-American. I thought he did a great job, and I REALLY loved the movie, but does he really stand a chance?
