Come on, Josh Brolin is one of the hottest white guys around. There’s no way he remotely resembles GW Bush! It’s like Laura Bush having Angelina Jolie portray her; it’s so ridiculous. If I ever become famous, can I have some hot Asian Playmate play me in a film?

Is “Secret Life of Bees” such an also-ran that it doesn’t even warrant lip service? Where was I when the bottom fell out of this movie?

I agree wholeheartedly. Josh Brolin just NAILED our beloved (?) Commander in Chief. Even if you don’t think so at first, stick around – he grows on you, like moss…when you stop being uncomfortable and start looking forward to the next dumb thing that is going to come out of Bush’s mouth, you start to really appreciate what Ollie Stone is trying to get across – George Bush is a man – he weeps, he bleeds…and we, as a collective nation, breathe a sigh of relief…its just a movie, its all over now, the credits are rolling, time to go home…another chapter in history…
Give ALL three of those men a gold statue…they’ve earned it…

I saw “W.” at the premiere in NY. You should add Elizabeth Banks to your list of possible nominations for Best Supporting Actress as “Laura Bush”.
Her turn as “Laura” grounds the film and, perhaps more importantly, helps ground George Bush as a real, three dimensional human and not a caricature.
Banks’ performance was very strong, understated, and complex. She conveyed a lot without relying only on dialogue to do it. I suspect she’ll be in the running come Oscar and Golden Globe time.
